As we reflect on the many things we’re grateful for this year, one stands out above the rest: the organizations across the nation that choose to hire, invest in, and empower U.S. Military Veterans. Offset Strategic Services LLC (OSS) is honored to be among them, and proud to be nationally recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor for our commitment to Veteran employment.
This year marks our fifth consecutive DoL HIRE Vets Platinum Medallion Award, a distinction reserved for companies that demonstrate the highest level of dedication to attracting, hiring, and retaining Veterans. And while we’re grateful for the recognition, this won’t be our last. At OSS, hiring Veterans isn’t a project, it’s part of who we are.
OSS was founded by a Veteran, and today almost half of our team has served in the Armed Forces. Their expertise, leadership, mission-first mindset, and deep familiarity with the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) make them invaluable partners to our clients.
Veterans don’t just fit into our culture; they help shape it. They bring strong work ethic, unmatched discipline, and real-world experience that translate directly into results. They already speak the language of the DIB, understand the mission, and know what it means to get the job done.
Our commitment isn’t only inward-facing. OSS believes in making a difference through action by supporting our people, partners, customers, community, and ultimately the Warfighter. Hiring Veterans is one of the most meaningful ways we live that belief.
We’re also fortunate to call Huntsville, Alabama home, a community with the second-highest concentration of HIRE Vets Awardees in the nation, right behind Washington, D.C. Huntsville’s Veteran-friendly, mission-focused culture strengthens everything we do and fuels our shared commitment to service.
